10 June: PROCESSIONS 2018

Volunteers needed to help celebrate the centenary of womens suffrage

On Sunday 10 June 2018, join tens of thousands of women and girls to walk together through Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London.

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime living artwork which will create a historic moment for gender equality and create a dramatic portrait of women in the 21st century. You will be given green, white or violet to wear, the colours of the suffrage movement whose initials stood for “Give Women Votes”, and this will create waves of colour as we celebrate the centenary of women’s suffrage.

Watch the PROCESSIONS film to find out more.

This event is produced by Artichoke and commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First
World War centenary, and will commemorate 100 years since the first women in the UK won the vote.
