27 Aug: Belfast Mela

ArtsEkta and Diabetes UK are looking for volunteers from all backgrounds to join them in creating this year’s Mela.

The Belfast Mela is Northern Ireland’s biggest celebration of cultural diversity which encourages active attendance, interaction and entertainment from and for a diverse kaleidoscope of cultures.

Taking place on Sunday 27th August at Botanic Park in Belfast, the Mela transforms the Park into a magical global garden filled with the sights, sounds and aromas of nations right around the world. Music, dance, arts and culture come together to create a heady, good humoured atmosphere which invites the world into the heart of our city.
