Volunteering with The Ulster New Zealand Trust at The Ballance House

20 February 2018

Volunteers are critical to the successful running and operation of The Balance House, a unique link between Ulster and New Zealand.

This is where John Ballance, who went on to become one of New Zealand’s more enlightened Premiers, was born. This year sees the start of a very exciting project – the redevelopment of the Museum and Exhibition.  The volunteer team’s aim to provide a friendly welcome at the restored farmhouse and ensure visitors have an enjoyable and informative experience.
