This is a Group Selection event where you get to meet the service staff team, other potential volunteers and have a one to one informal interview with the recruitment team.

Where? : British Red Cross, 12 Heron Road, Sydenham Business Park, Belfast BT3 9LE. Click here to see on google maps.

When?: 4pm–6pm or 7pm–9pm on Wednesday 27th June 2018 – please let them know which time slot suits you best.

Who? :  Successful applicants will have 2 hours per week on an ongoing basis to volunteer and support beneficiaries. They will also have business insurance on their car (if required).  Volunteers and Staff work to the 7 Fundamental Principles.

Why? : Connecting Human Kindness with Human Crisis

What do you need to do? : Bring 3 forms of ID with you to the Selection Event for your Access NI check (see attached document with appropriate forms of ID). If successful, you will then need to complete the online application for Access NI. There is also a 2 day induction course which you must complete before you can get started in the volunteer role.  You will also have to provide an emergency contact and references for the role so have a think who you would like this to be.
