  • Allotments on Tour: Explore the community gardens and allotments on your doorstep.  A community garden or allotment is a relaxing sociable way to garden, an ideal way of getting your hands on valuable gardening space, an opportunity to meet fellow gardeners, and had the added bonus of producing your own  five-a-day!
  • Men’s Shed: There are approximately 50 Men’s Sheds in Northern Ireland and they come in all shapes, sizes and locations.  Some can be found in your local shopping centre, a classroom, community centre or, more traditionally, in an actual shed!  Whatever the location, Men’s Shed offer some social space for men of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in pursuing recreational activities … anything from wood turning, painting, copper beating, cookery, joinery and much more!
