From Friday 3rd February until noon on Friday 24th February, the Skills and Opportunities fund will be open again for applications from charities, social enterprises, community groups and state-funded schools and colleges based in the UK and Ireland.
They are keen to receive applications for regional and local projects that support people in disadvantaged communities to gain financial capability skills or to start or develop a business now or in the future.
The Skills and Opportunities fund has been running since 2015 and during that time grants of up to £35k have enabled not-for-profit organisations to support people in some of the most deprived communities across the country, helping them to access the skills and opportunities required to progress in education or start their own business.
You can find out more about previous winners and keep up to date with the progress of their projects at skillsandopportunitiesfund.ulsterbank.com
So, if you think we could help you to make a difference in your community, please encourage local groups to visit our websitefor eligibility and criteria details and to make an application.
