Dementia Friendly Awards 2017

Every day we hear examples of people with dementia, carers, volunteers, professionals, fundraisers and others in the wider community, who’ve made a real difference to the lives of people with dementia.

Nominations are open now for this year’s Dementia Friendly Awards, in their 3rd year in Northern Ireland, they will curate the best and most inspiring of them and give them the recognition that they truly deserve.

This year there are 13 awards across 10 categories, with awards for Dementia Friendly Organisation, Community, Partnership, Dementia Friends Champion, Innovation, Young person’s contribution, Journalist and Inspiring Individual, as well as a brand new category to celebrate individual and group fundraiser of the year.

Closing date – 15 September 2017

 Award Ceremony: Nominations will be judged by people affected by dementia and industry experts. There will be three finalists per award. Finalists will be invited to attend the awards ceremony taking place at The Europa Hotel, Belfast, Tuesday 28th November 2017
