Who is the training for?
The training will raise awareness of vulnerability and assist voluntary, community and independent organisations working with adults at risk to achieve the minimum standards of best practice as outlined in the publication 'Keeping Adults Safe: A Shared Responsibility'.

How much does the training cost?
Keeping Adults Safe training is supported by the Health and Social Care Board. This funding ensures organisations can avail of free Keeping Adults Safe training delivered locally.
Who delivers the training?
Keeping Adults Safe training is delivered by qualified and accredited trainers with experience of safeguarding issues.
How long does the training take?
10.00am - 4.00pm.
Keeping Adults Safe: Training for Staff and Volunteers is an interactive and participative training programme where participants will learn through presentation, group work and discussion.

Volunteer Now is launching a new one-to-one safeguarding policy support service, where you will meet a safeguarding expert to discuss the review/development of your safeguarding policy, procedures and guidelines against the recognised standards of best practice. You will also receive an action plan and information which will guide you on how to proceed following the session.
