FREE Keeping Children Safe

Volunteer Now, in conjunction with Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council would like to invite voluntary and community groups from across the Council area to participate in training on volunteer management and/or child protection.

This course covers the legal context for keeping children safe and will help you understand different types of abuse including:

  • Online
  • Grooming
  • Exploitation

It will look at good practice procedures including reporting concerns and the use of a code of behaviour for staff/volunteers.
