Why not get involved with the University of Ulster Students’ Union Volunteering Centre?

We are here to support those UU students who want to lend a helping hand in their local community or Students' Union whether they are passionate about social change, seeking to gain valuable experiences and skills or whether they just want to meet new friends and have fun.

By registering with the UUSU Volunteer Centre, students gain access to an online UUSU Volunteer Centre area in BlackboardLearn and receive information on volunteering activities and events throughout the year, including information on how to gain accreditation for your volunteering through the Ulster EDGE Award and Volunteer Now’s Millennium Volunteers.

Student Volunteering Week at UU

Student Volunteering Week is a nationwide celebration of student volunteering that brings together organisations from all sectors to promote and celebrate the volunteering efforts of students across the Universities and Colleges in the UK. This year's campaign takes place 23rd February to 1st March 2015 and there will a number of events at UU

If you've never volunteered before, you can also attend one of our 'Turn Up and Try' sessions that allow you to spend a couple of hours volunteering and see what's involved - click the link below to find out more about sessions on and off campus.
