Funding opportunity for groups in Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon (CLOSED)

Good News.  DfC have released funding to support the volunteers working in the volunteer led community groups delivering against Covid-19.

Craigavon & Banbridge Volunteer Bureau will be delivering the scheme in partnership with Armagh Banbridge Craigavon Council.

Grants of up to £500 will be available to cover volunteer costs. (Subject to number of applications)

• • PPE for Volunteers (paid by volunteers individually & accompanied with receipt)
  • Travel Costs for Volunteers

Applications are open to those organisations engaging in supporting the community through the pandemic.  Examples of what that support might look like includes:

• • Fundraising for the local foodbank
  • Making up and delivering Food parcels
  • Shopping
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Good Morning calls
  • Befriending
  • Online support
  • Community interaction
  • Prescription Banking/post office lifts
