Could you be a Sports Leader within your community?
Are you passionate about running and cycling and keen to share this with others?
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are seeking volunteers to guide visually impaired runners or to assist Disability Sport NI with the All Out Trekking project in Gosford Forest Park. If you have some free time, then please sign up and take part in the free training that will provide you with qualifications to deliver these sport and physical activity sessions!
This programme – which is part of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Get Moving ABC initiative – has a number of carefully designed courses designed to give participants the skills, knowledge and practical experience to deliver physical activity sessions to individuals, groups or families living in the borough. All for free!
Volunteer who book onto the Community Inclusive Run Leader and Inclusive Cycle Leaders programme will gain a coaching award, a first aid course, pre or post course training and disability awareness training.
Places on the courses are limited and will be allocated to those who meet the programme’s criteria and complete and return the Expression of Interest form. Please note, expressing an interest does not guarantee you a place.
Closing date: Monday 5th April 16:00pm
