Engagement in Culture, Arts & Sports Summary Tables

Engagement in culture, arts and sport by adults in Northern Ireland local government districts 2020 has been published by the Department for Communities.

These summary tables will present statistics on engagement with the arts, sport, museums or science centres, libraries, heritage sites, PRONI services and voluntary work by adults across Northern Ireland’s local government districts.  The tables provide findings from 2014/15-2016/17 (pooled datasets), 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20 Continuous Household Surveys.  Due to the reduced sample size in 2020/21 we are not be able to provide information for all 11 local government districts for that year.
