Be Collective: 2nd Birthday!

Volunteer Now, the lead organisation for promoting and supporting volunteering across Northern Ireland, has achieved some major milestones over the past two years.  With a membership base of nearly 7,000 members, we’ve seen nearly 1,500 volunteer opportunities realised, supporting a significant proportion of communities across Northern Ireland.

Just before the outset of the COVID pandemic, Volunteer Now partnered with Be Collective, an innovative digital volunteer management platform.  This helped us pivot, adapting to the challenges associated with the pandemic.  To date, Volunteer Now have built an online ecosystem of nearly 2,000 partners; Causes, Charities, Not for Profits and Businesses who rely on volunteers to deliver community services and support.
