Inspired by the Coronation Celebrations and the Big Help Out?
No doubt you saw and read lots of coverage about the Big Help Out across the Coronation weekend. The aim of the Big Help out was to inspire and encourage people to volunteer and give a little bit of time to organisations just like yours. #iwill ambassadors Corin and Colt attended the Coronation Big Lunch at 10 Downing Street, London and Volunteer Now supported the Volunteer Village at Enniskillen Castle. Even Hugo Duncan supported our message and we met the Secretary of State along with The Kindness Post Box and Noelle McAlinden (High Sheriff of Co Fermanagh) – pictured below. The team also supported Antrim and Newtownabbey Council with the promotion of their Big Help Out events and promoted the opportunity to support each other through the Coronation Big Lunch.
The Big Lunch will also be with us during Volunteers’ Week so a great opportunity to make community connections, reduce isolation and loneliness as well as to make friendships through sharing food and fun.
