Youth and Future Talent Awards (YAFTAS)

This year’s YAFTA, Youth and Future Talent Award, was recently launched in Down Leisure Centre.

The YAFTAs were created by the Youth Council so that people could choose to recognise and acknowledge the huge commitment many young people make quietly to the community around them whether that be in their Youth Club, Community Group, School or even family.

There are eight nomination categories, offering opportunities to nominate groups and individuals.

Nomination forms are also available from Newry Youth Resource Centre and Ballymote Youth Wing.

The closing date for entries is 5.00pm on Tuesday 5 March 2024

All nominees receive an official certificate and the winners and runners-up are invited to a glittering evening reception and presentation in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Thursday 28 March 2024.
