Apply for a small grant to help you Get Together

Food for Life Get Togethers use the power of good food to connect people of all ages and from different backgrounds. Let’s get more people eating healthily, strengthen our communities and reduce experience of loneliness and social isolation.

They’re offering small grants of between £50 – £150. The money could support your first intergenerational community Get Together or if you’ve already held one, this grant could support another food gathering ensuring sustainability and ‘Getting Together’ becoming something your community just does! Alternately, you might fancy hosting a larger event with the help of this funding. The grant is simply about enabling people of different generations in your community to Get Together through good food.

Applications are open to groups from the following areas: Belfast, Fermanagh and Omagh District, Newry, Mourne and Down District

• Application deadline: 15th April – Payment date:  Friday 15th May
• Application deadline: 17th June – Payment date:  Friday 10th July
• Application deadline: 16th Sept – Payment date: Friday 16th Oct
• Application deadline: 11th Nov – Payment date:  Friday 4th December
