Volunteering in Environment & Heritage Groups – How are things going in light of COVID-19?
Thursday 17 September 2020, 11.00am – 12.00pm
COVID-19 has changed how we do so many things and volunteering is no exception. The measures such as social distancing, hand sanitising and wearing face coverings, mean that volunteering activities and roles have to be managed and carried out very differently.
The session will give you an opportunity to talk to colleagues working in a similar field about your experiences of managing and supporting volunteers under these new circumstances. You can hear how others are implementing the measures, share ideas, tips and strategies for dealing with any issues or challenges.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Sandra.faulkner@volunteernow.co.uk by 12.30pm on Wednesday 16 September 2020, to book a place. You will then be sent a link and joining instructions before the event.
Other upcoming VOLT Sessions are:
