BOOK NOW… Volunteer Strategy – Gaining Visibility & Traction in Your Organisation
Welcome to the Institute of Volunteer Leadership, a joint programme presented by Volunteer Ireland and Volunteer Now. Join us for a transformative journey where leaders of volunteers come together to share experiences, knowledge, and build a powerful network of leaders of volunteers across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Volunteer Strategy – Gaining Visibility & Traction in Your Organisation
Wed, 17 Apr 2024 10:00 – 13:00 BST (online)
Are you frustrated by organisational decisions that affect your volunteer program and yet were made without your consultation? How do you get a seat at the table when so often volunteers are seen as a “nice to have” rather than a critical cog? In this workshop, Ang will take you through a simple, clear, step-by-step process that will help you build a personal capacity to advocate for your volunteer program within your organisation. You will learn how to create a shared language, executive buy-in, and clear agreements and expectations. Participants will leave the session with a practical understanding of how to build a volunteer “Strategy on a Page”, the tools and templates to do so, and more importantly, an insight on how to use it to advocate for your volunteer programme.
