This is a face to face safeguarding training in Belfast.
Keeping Children and Adults Safe: Training for Staff and Volunteers is aimed at those who engage with children, young people and adults at risk. This training will raise awareness of safeguarding issues and consider good practice for creating a safe environment
This Keeping Children and Adults Safe Training covers:
- Legal context and policy context of safeguarding children and adults
- Awareness of vulnerability
- Awareness of abuse issues
- Procedures for reporting concerns
- Procedures for creating a safe environment and assessing and managing risk
- Confidentiality
- Code of behaviour for staff/volunteers.
