Keeping Children Safe: An Introduction Refresher
This is a 2 hour refresher course for those working with children and young people.
Keeping Children Safe Training is delivered by accredited trainers with experience of safeguarding issues.
Participants receive a certificate on completion of the full course.
This course will refresh participants on the key issues in relation to safeguarding children and young people including:
- legal context;
- possible indicators of abuse;
- how to deal with a concern; and
- boundaries when working with children and young people.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited to a maximum of 3 per organisation.
Joining information will be sent out the day before the session.
This training is available for those working or volunteering in the Northern, Southern and Western Trust areas.
