Moonlit Mourne Trek
Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI is the only charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to blood cancer research. Their mission is to improve survival rates and quality of life for all blood cancer patients by supporting clinicians, scientists and students researching these diseases.
On Saturday 11th June 2022 they will be holding their popular Moonlit Mourne Trek, where participants climb Slieve Donard at sunset before descending by torchlight. This event regularly attracts over 80 participants.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registering participants and collecting sponsorship forms and cash donations. Volunteers who are experienced climbers will be needed to help guide on the actual trek. They will also need volunteers willing to be at the finish (after midnight) to check hikers back in and give out certificates and medals.
Applications to volunteer at this event are now closed – thank you to everyone who registered to help
