What does your volunteering involve?
I have volunteered helping look after young people and ensuring they had a safe environment to
partake in activities. I have also volunteered in raising awareness of Alzheimer's.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
My favourite thing has been the NCS program in which I helped raise awareness for Alzheimer's. The
highlight of the program was definitely meeting new people and starting new friendships.
Why would you encourage others to become a Millennium Volunteer?
I would encourage others to become a Millennium Volunteer as it gives you lots of opportunities to try
new things and meet new people. The advice I would give is to try anything and everything as it is a
great experience.
