Lesley, Mindwise

Lesley is a volunteer with Mindwise and tells us how she has been helping and engaging with people during Covid-19…….

“I signed up to do some voluntary arts and crafts teaching with MindWise a short while before the pandemic hit.  Although I have not met any of the students yet, we decided to try some video tutorials. It is a learning curve for me! But I am happy I am able to offer something even though not in person.  I have chosen the subject of collage to start with as it is so varied and there are many techniques I can teach within the subject. It is something everyone can do no matter what their artistic abilities are.  I’m looking forward to meeting the students in the future”
