What does your volunteering involve?
Something Different Action Cancer is a retail shop inspired by vintage furniture and clothing so my work involves working with cash register, helping customers, pricing and tagging items in the shop.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
Communicating, both with other shift members and also with customers. I also feel satisfaction of customers coming to the shop and buying various items – the income goes to a great cause!

Why would you encourage others to become a Millennium Volunteer?
It is hugely rewarding and inspires you to continue volunteering and become more involved with the community around you!
