What activities can staff get involved in?
- October to March/April: many of the activities tend to be indoor and therefore more suited to smaller numbers of staff at a time.
- April to September: more outdoor opportunities are available which can often host larger team sizes.
- Mobile Volunteering is a new concept where we bring a volunteering opportunity to your workplace, so staff can volunteer for as little or as much time as they have during the day. It is available all year round.
Examples include – litter picks on Cavehill, sorting donations for Oxfam, take over a charity shop for a day, painting and decorating, river cleans, removing invasive species at Murlough Beach, packing seeds, clearing allotments and community gardens, and so much more!
